It’s Peach season

Julia Reed is one of my favorite writers and who happens to have grown up in the south

and now lives in New Orlean’s.  So when she says she loves this recipe I staighten up

and pay attention.  This one is a true winner for Peach Pickin Time  with 3 different rums to

add to the mix. Enjoy!

Frozen Peach Daiquiri

8 to 10 ripe peaches ( peeled and cut into chunks )

8 ounces of rum ( half Bacardi and half Mount Gay )

1/4 cup fresh squeezed lime juice

1/4 cup of simple syrup ( equal parts of water to sugar and boil then cool )


Put all ingredients in a blender.  Blend until ice is a desired consistency.

You may need to add more lime juice or syrup.  Float Myers Rum on top.
