This painting, done by my Grandmother when she was a teenager, is one of my favorite pieces of artwork.  I always display it proudly.  It seems perfect above the mantle around this time of the year.  My mother told me that it was a larger painting, but it got water damaged through the years.  I’m so glad she saved part of it and had it framed.  I’m thinking of having copies made for my brothers and sister this year as a special surprise.
