PEACE LOVE & HAPPINESS
Enjoying the Rose Bowl Parade and making a New Year’s resolution to go and visit Pasadena at some point in my life to see the Parade and Game. Adding this to my Bucket List of things to do and places to visit!
Another Bucket list item is to go to an NHL Winter Classic at least once in my life on New Year’s Day! Go Blackhawks!!!!
I’m loving that www.vierestaurant.com is launching his famous canned items for sale in 2011. He makes the most wonderful food and I can’t wait to take home or give as a gift his canned goods that he learned to make from his Mom. His infamous Truffle Dinner is February 2, 2011.
If you want to get candle wax off of a candlestick or tablecloth place item in freezer for awhile and the unwanted candle wax will pop right off.
When putting Christmas decorations away for the season photograph everything for insurance purposes or just to remember how to put together the mantle for next year.
Just saw the movie Black Swan, I’ll never watch Swan Lake the same ever again.
Just saw the movie The King’s Speech, I think it was the perfect Holiday movie – Historical and Uplifting!
Looking forward to trying a new bar and restaurant in Chicago called www.maudesliquorbar.com I love everything French!
Tackling a new recipe tonight from the new cookbook by The West Town Tavern at www.westtowntavern.com . I’m going to try Shrimp, Turkey and Oyster Gumbo; it sounds perfect for a night that is suppose to be below freezing in temperature.
