The best of the best, in my opinion, in southeast Wisconsin.  Enjoy!!!

Best Hotels:  Geneva Inn, The Grand Geneva, and The Abbey

Best Breakfast:  Simple, Daddy Maxwell’s, Lutche’s & Joni’s Diner

Best Bloody Mary’s: Gordy’s Marine, Lutche’s and Grand Geneva

Best Burgers: Chuck’s on the Lake, Mars on Lake Como, & The Waterfront

Best Cheese Curds:  Just about anywhere in Wisconsin

Best Ribs: Mars, Cafe Calamari, and Elkhorn Ribfest

Best Live Music:  Music By the Lake at George Williams College, The Ridge, and Chuck’s

Best Place to enjoy the sunset:  Geneva Inn on the patio, sunset boat cruise, Lake Geneva Yacht Club, walking the path around Lake Geneva, Chuck’s or Gordy’s.  Pier 290 is a fun spot to hang out, but on the wrong side of the lake to enjoy the sunset.

Best place to watch sports:  The Waterfront, Next Door Pub, Chuck’s, Pier 290 and Champ’s.

Favorite coffee spot: Boxed and Burlap on Hwy 50, The Ridge for Blue Heeler coffee.

Raining:  Check out some great bowling alleys in the area – fun afternoon or Cooking School

Favorite restaurants:  Medusa’s, Sopra, The Hunt Club, Lutche’s, Thyme and Cafe Calamari.

Favorite places: Northwind Flower Farm, Elkhorn Flea Market, Pearce’s Farm Stand, Geneva Theater, Spa at the Abbey, walking path around Lake Geneva, Farmer’s Market, Boxed and Burlap, Lora Lei for a special boat tour, Gage marine boat tours, sailing and paddle boarding, Watching the Packers beat the Bears at the very many bars in the area, Music by the Lake, Cooking School, and the many top rated golf courses in the area.

What to bring home: Spotted Cow from New Glarus brewery, Indulgence Chocolate from Wisconsin, Gordy’s sweatshirt, plants from Northwind, Fontana Jewelers Lake Geneva Jewels, Blue Heeler coffee from Simple Bakery ( don’t forget to take home some of their granola too ), honey, maple syrup, and jams and jellies from Pearce’s farm stand, Lake Geneva Country Meats and Wisconsin cheese from Carr Valley Cheese.
